Yesterday, I went at Walmart on Beach Blvd close to Southside Blvd. After getting groceries I needed, I wandered by TV section. One drew my attention: a 51″ Plasma Samsung. I took two pictures and went to BestBuy to see if they may match the price. The customer service representative checked online, the TV was listed $499. I remarked that the TV is $399 at BestBuy and $349 at TigerDirect. The young customer service representative informed me that BestBuy matches only prices listed online. I emphasized that I was just coming from a Store to another and because I do not like buy electronics at Walmart. For courtesy, the customer service representative called Walmart. She was put on hold for a while, I decided to let it go. Today, I went back just to check if my mind and my phone were still working right. The TV was still there. I took another picture; The set is a little darker in the middle of the first row. I saw a Walmart agent playing with his cell phone on close to me. I called on him and I asked if Walmart had the TV in stock. He took the picture of the bar code and pushed a button. He showed me his phone. There was was a big zero. He recommended that I talk with someone else to check for me when ti can come in as he cannot. He asked me if I was shopping for a plasma TV. I replied NO, I was attracted by the price. Then, I thought: a TV displayed for two days with none of the model in stock. It is not a surprise: This TV does not exist.
